Beth Ernest - Interim Pastor
Beth is excited to be a part of the ministry at Trinity Church. She has served as pastor and interim pastor at churches in New Hampshire and Michigan, as well as three years as a hospice chaplain. She loves the special challenge of preparing churches for their next permanent pastor. When not preaching, teaching, drinking coffee, vision casting with church leaders, or commuting from Grand Rapids, she enjoys singing, travel, and reading books on leadership. Beth also serves as Vice-Chair of the Executive Board of the Great Lakes Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Beth is grateful to God for the blessing of her scholar husband, James, her justice-loving-violin-playing son, Sam, and her amazing ballerina daughter, Miriam. The latest addition to the Ernest family is the Irish Terrier wonder dog, Orla, who loves chasing small rodents.
Phil Arakelian - Director of Youth Ministries
Phil has a passion for seeing young people meet Jesus Christ. He also runs his own construction company and is husband to Tammy and the proud dad of Grayson. Besides his undergrad degree in Youth Ministry, Phil is working on a Masters in Spiritual Formation at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago.
Paula Murphy - Music Director
Paula has overseen the unique blend of musicians at Trinity for several years. She brings her gifts as conductor and pianist to our worship services. Under her guidance, Trinity has developed a wonderful blend of musical styles and rhythms made possible by the congregation's wealth of musical talent.
Donna Thomas - Church Secretary
Donna keeps us all organized and in good cheer! Her willing spirit is a gift from God. Besides possessing the talents that keep Trinity running smoothly, she possesses a black belt in martial arts. Donna is a woman we all respect!
